Brett

BDN Electrical working director, Brett, has over 15 years experience working in a wide range of industries. Brett is a qualified Grade A Electrician and holds his Electrical Contractor License with the Electrical Licensing Board WA.

Brett started working for a local Perth based electrical company in the early 2000s where he gained a wide range of experience doing council maintenance and was part of the team responsible for installing the Christmas lights in the City of Perth and Joondalup for many years.

From here Brett moved into commercial installation and maintenance. This included:

Installing electrical and communication systems for new department buildings and classrooms at a Perth high school,
Maintenance support to clients.
Upgrades and maintenance of electrical and communication services at Ascot and Belmont Racecourse
Travelling throughout Western Australia maintaining and upgrading Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RAWWA) TAB's and Pub TABs.

To broaden his experience, Brett moved from commercial installation and maintenance to large scale construction when he commenced Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) working in remote locations in the Pilbarra, which included delivery of transfer stations, conveyors, stackers and reclaimers. Upon completion of these projects, Brett moved to a town and facilities maintenance role with Spotless in Paraburdoo where he worked his way up from tradesman, to supervisor. It was during this time that Brett obtained his electrical contractor qualification and started BDN Electrical.

In addition to working in a variety of industries, Brett has unique hands-on experience with the building process as he is currently renovating his own home. Older homes have a lot of unique problems, but Brett's passion for the renovation process and his experience mean that there is no issue that cannot be resolved.
